Imagining an updated identity for Jones' Crumpets

PERSONAL PROJECT

Jones' Crumpets is a artisanal crumpet bakery based in London, with myself loving crumpets (especially theirs) recently I tasked myself to imagine how Jones' Crumpets woud look like if it underwent a brand refresh.

Currently (The Problem)

The current branding is nice, it has a homemade feel to it, which links to it's artisanal crumpets and the crumpet rings are nice, however it doesn't scale particularly well or work across different platforms (Social, digital and website). Additionally the colours aren't cohesive and they had recent photoshoot which mismatches with the current branding

The Solution

Rebranding Jones' Crumpets, I wanted to take inspiration from the current logo, particularly the tall J, pairing that with a custom edited font to include "pools" at the bottom of certain letters to link to butter melting into a crumpet. And creang a custom ' which feels more rounded lk a crumpet. Along side this creating simple crumpet ring assets which can be paired into two rings side by side or singular to create simple patterns.

Finally creating a celebratory tin to keep your crumpets the freshest they can be, while still allowing them to be handpicked. The idea behind the front of the tine s o ave the 5 stacked crumpets signified by the word Jones - keeping that crumpet like appearance, while on th rear a suggestion of how to enjoy your crumpets.
