Project Details:

Leigh's is a new small seasonal focused cafe in De Beauvoir Town, Hackney. Founded by two classically trained chefs, Leigh's serves up incredible coffee, "healthy" focused treats and topped toasts. The menu changes weekly depending on produce which is in season.

I worked with the founders to develop the brand identity and art direction, taking inspiration from their classic chef training and incorporating a handpainted signage aesthetic. The logo includes a small nod to the cafe space which is a converting nuts and bolts factory.

The supporting graphics were chosen to compliment the brand logo with fun motion elements from swinging cherries, seasonal fruit and veg filling a box, a basil forest and carrots flying around a crate.

The monogram features the L from Leigh's with a toast/ loaf cake icon along side a coffee cup.
